“There’s a multitude of acoustic singer/songwriters out there, but what makes the best stand out, in my mind, is the ability to convey strong feeling with a minimum of instrumentation. Matthew Puckett’s work is quiet and moody yet undeniably catchy in ways that nod to his rock sensibilities.” – Jeff Marsh, Delusions of Adequacy.net

“A hunky rough-hewn singer-songwriter.”- Time Out NY

I am a songwriter and producer. My studio is in Los Angeles, California. I work with all kinds of artists, singers, composers, rock stars, pop stars and supreme songwriters.

Here are songs I’ve written and produced –

I produced this song for Cathy Heller and Kyler England (featured on NBC promos and commercials “New Comedy” and “Think Green):
Turn The Sunshine On

I have also just finished scoring an edgy new series called ‘Gravity‘ for the Starz network.

Some other cool projects I have worked on so far in 2010 include producing and writing with several artists including Elizabeth Gillies (Nickelodeon) Jess Furman, Cathy Heller (Frontline) and Kyler England (The Rescues / Universal Republic). I also produced and arranged Cathy and Kyler’s song ‘Turn the Sunshine On’, which was the promo for the new NBC Comedy Line-up. I produced most of Cathy’s new CD, ‘Life Is Good’, which is out now.
